Discounted & Affordable Therapy Options | Learn More About Our Associate Therapists Program >>
The Associate Therapist Program is a mutually beneficial program that helps our uninsured or under-insured guests receive the high standard of care, counseling and therapy we provide at The Arizona Relationship Institute, while also helping student-therapists gain clinical experience.
Our Associate Therapists are students completing their Master’s in Counseling and receiving the necessary 700 hours of clinical experience required before graduation. Choosing to work with one of our Associates provides you with a well-trained, competent therapist at a discounted rate as our licensed therapists supervise and review their work for excellence.
The biggest benefit of the Associate Therapist Program for you, is the option for affordable individual & family therapy & mental health counseling in Arizona for those that need it and are committed. If you don’t have insurance or are trying to figure out how to pay for counseling & therapy, receiving care under the Associate Therapist Program may be a solution for you.
Associates receive training from and collaborate with each of our licensed therapists for the first three months of their internships. Not only do our Associate Therapists receive training and supervision in our office, but they are also receiving continuous training from their school program for case conceptualization and advanced skill-building.
Here at AZRI, we encourage our Associate Therapists to further develop their clinical skills by attending an additional externship in Emotion-Focused Couple Therapy (EFT) during the first part of their internship. EFT is an evidence-based theoretical model that allows couples to learn how to communicate, recover from infidelity, and restore partnerships that lead to rebuilding love and trust. As our Associate applies EFT to individuals and couples, each client receives the highest quality of services through their supervisor’s directives.
With the Associate Therapists Program & many other programs and events we hold, AZRI strives to give back wherever and whenever we can. This applies to our own staff, students, guests, patients & clients. Especially in recent years, with social, political, emotional and familial turmoil ever-present, it is important to offer support to those struggling with a range impediments. The Arizona Relationship is Committed to those who are also committed to their own growth & long-term wellness.
Are you a student working on your Master’s in Therapy and need to complete the necessary 700 hours of clinical experience required before graduation? You may qualify to participate in our Associate Therapist program as an Associate Therapist. Contact us to apply.
