About Jasmin:

My name is Jasmin Roumina, and I am a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to supporting individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s transitions, strengthen relationships, and deepen their understanding of themselves. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Arizona State University, where I developed a strong foundation in systemic and relational approaches to therapy.

I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted. My therapeutic approach is grounded in the belief that healing begins within the relationship itself. Before any intervention, I prioritize creating a safe, authentic, and trusting connection with each client. While I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), I tailor my approach to meet each client’s unique needs, drawing from attachment-based, trauma-informed, and relational perspectives.

I am especially passionate about supporting individuals from multicultural and first-generation backgrounds. Growing up between two cultures myself, has given me firsthand insight into the complexities of identity, belonging, family expectations, and intergenerational dynamics. I enjoy helping clients explore these experiences with curiosity and compassion, creating space for them to better understand themselves while honoring both their personal values and cultural roots.

In addition to my clinical work, I serve as the Education Director at Arizona Relationship Institute. Education has always been one of my core values, and I believe learning is a lifelong process for both therapists and clients.

Whether you are seeking support during a difficult season, working to improve your relationships, processing past experiences, or striving to become the best version of yourself, I am committed to providing a collaborative, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where meaningful change can occur.

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and energetic dog. I love exploring new places, trying different foods, listening to music, and traveling whenever I have the opportunity. I believe that embracing new experiences and staying curious enriches both my personal life and my work as a therapist.
