Born and raised in Colorado, Natalia holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Colorado Denver. During her time there, she discovered her passion for the field of counseling. She is particularly drawn to working with couples, LGBTQIA+ populations, and mental health concerns such as trauma, depression, and anxiety. After spending two years building experience as a case manager, Natalia relocated to Arizona, where she is currently pursuing her Master of Counseling degree at Arizona State University with the goal of becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
Natalia’s work is centered around helping individuals and couples navigate the complexities of their relationships. She is also committed to becoming a sex therapist in the future and strives to create a space where individuals and couples can explore their sexual identities and overcome challenges in a safe, open environment. Additionally, as a Christian, she is open to working with clients from all religious and non-religious backgrounds, thoroughly understanding the intricate ways that religion can impact mental health, personal identity, and relationships. She brings a compassionate and nuanced perspective to her work with clients who are navigating the intersections of identities, relationships, and lived experiences. Natalia takes an eclectic approach to therapy, integrating techniques from Person-Centered Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), allowing her to tailor her techniques to the specific needs of each client.
