Counseling and therapy for teenagers differs slightly than counseling and therapy for adults. The problems that teenagers face are not the same as those that adults face. Further, the natural developmental brain changes that occur in teenagers can be scary or cause anxiety. Helping teens to deal with the natural changes that are occurring in the body and brain, as well as their social challenges and troubles with peers.

From dealing with schoolwork to building social competence, a teen counselor and therapist both teaches teens to avoid serious adolescent problems, but can reverse course on bad behaviors that are developing.
AZRI offers substance abuse counseling for teens in Mesa, Arizona in an outpatient setting with knowledgeable and caring professionals. Outpatient substance abuse therapy for teens is best-suited for teens with minor behavioral and substance abuse issues versus severe addiction cases.
