Dr. Melissa Ferrell, DNP FNP-BC is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Arizona. Her dissertation topic was focused on sublingual immunotherapy and how to improve nurse practitioner knowledge and management of patients on this treatment. She was the recipient of the Top DNP Project award upon graduation. Dr. Ferrell is the owner of The Family Allergy Clinic & Wellness Center, Tei-rell Infusions, and Active Recovery Care. She offers an integrative approach to managing allergies, optimizing hormones and general wellness through diet, exercise, vitamin infusions and supplements.

Dr. Ferrell is also certified to care for those suffering with opioid addiction using medication-assisted treatment options such as Suboxone (Buprenorphine/Naloxone) and Vivitrol (Naltrexone). In her free time, Dr. Ferrell enjoys cycling, wakeboarding, and most importantly, spending time with her family.
