Jaime Shelton

Jaime is currently a  pre – licensed clinical associate, she works under the direct supervision of Shannon Barousse, LMFT.

Jaime understands that transitions in life can be overwhelming to the family, couple and individual.  At times the changes to one’s relationships, social supports, world views and sense of purpose can be disorienting. Jaime will work with you to navigate the grief surrounding loss and help you make sense of your journey. 

By utilizing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Jaime works at helping to deconstruct negative narratives, consider new perspectives and develop a renewed sense of self, while helping you gain clarity and balance in your unique evolution. 

Jaime is passionate about supporting individuals and couples through life transitions as well as working with grief, anxiety, depression, and relationship struggles. She also has a wealth of knowledge in working through the special challenges that couples experience when they are of mixed faith or when one is experiencing religious deconstruction.
